Editorial Services

Even Nobel Prize-winning authors have editors reviewing their work for inconsistencies, errors, repetitive passages and so on. Why not give your book the same level of unbiased scrutiny?
Increasingly in today's competitive publishing market publishers and literary agents are expecting the work they receive to have been professionally edited beforehand. EunosMedia offers competitive editing services that will help you get your manuscript ready for publishing with the best quality. We handle all forms of material, from short fiction to poetry, novels, non-fiction, technical material, etc.

Why does my work need editing?

It's tempting to think, in this age of spell-checkers and grammar-checkers, that editing is unnecessary – but in fact it is the silliest and most embarrassing mistakes that spell-checkers miss: things like their / there; your / you're; and it's / its – mistakes that are so easy to make in the heat of the creative moment, but which can be so costly when your work is being inspected by a critical eye.
And how often can you honestly say that you sit down and check the consistency of your heading levels? Or your use of single / double quotes, and your punctuation around them? Do you know the difference between the hyphen and the en dash, and do you use them appropriately? These are exactly the things which will irritate professional readers at agencies and publishers, and distract them from the quality of your work. With the current competitiveness in especially the fiction publishing market you cannot afford to compromise your chances in the slightest.

What does your service include?

Our standard editing service will check your manuscript for spelling, grammar, punctuation, consistency, and clarity. We will make sure that what you have written is clearly and accurately presented, and easy to understand. If you would also like us to suggest subjective improvements we can mark these up in the text and provide a written critique of your work for only a little extra.

Who will be editing my work?

Our editors have wide-ranging editorial experience in several localized languages.
For most authors, the ultimate goal is to see your writing in print, but here at EunosMedia we understand that, as an author, you want to be spending your time writing – not spending hours checking through reference books searching for that one publisher in a hundred who sounds like they might be interested in your work; or hunting through hundreds of sites on the internet for days on end just to scrape together a handful of out-of-date leads.

Editor's Analysis

You've worked hard over every word. You've written and rewritten. You've tried, to no avail, to view it objectively. After all of that, isn't it worth paying a professional editor to help you make your book as professional and technically accurate as possible?
With the EunosMedia Editor's Analysis service, a professional copy editor reviews your book to give you eight pages of invaluable advice. And perhaps best of all, a full edit of a few pages of your book as a sample, so that you can see what kinds of things should be changed, and the best way to make those changes.
Service includes:

  • A review of your original checking for tone, perspective, complexity, sentence fragments, spelling, syntax, punctuation, flow, and formatting
  • A professional recommendation on whether a full copy edit is in order
  • A 5-8 page sample edit of your manuscript and price quote

Copy Editing

Your Editor’s Analysis may recommend one of several levels of copy editing for your manuscript. We offer editing exclusively through our Editor’s Analysis service to ensure that you receive the most effective editing possible at the best price.
Since our copy edit prices are calculated depending on the size of your book, we can offer direct quotes for smaller books without an Editor’s Analysis. That way, you can reap the benefits of a full copy edit when your book is too small to sample. If your book has 15,000 words or less, contact us for a quote.
